Barstools and counter stools come in many styles, materials, sizes, finishes,
fabrics, and prices. Some people prefer metal barstools, while others prefer
wood barstools. Others enjoy barstools that swivel or barstools that have arms.
Sometimes it's important to be able to coordinate a barstool with a dining set.
The general rule
of thumb is to have 10"-13" between
your barstool seat height and your table height. Barstools come in 4 sizes:
17"-18" regular table seat height
24" counter stool seat height
26" counter stool seat height
30" barstool seat height
A good estimate is about 21" per stool for
small stools, and 24" per stool for larger stools. Measure the length
of your counter or bar in inches and divide by either 21 or 24. Width dimensions
are given on all detail order pages for each stool to guide you in this math.
Usually, better made products have longer life expectancies
and better warranties (see the warranty of one of our vendors). At TEMA-USA,
we offer custom options with our barstools. Customers love selecting their
custom finish and fabric for all Amisco barstools!
