Many of our contemporary beds
do not require a box spring below the mattress. This not only creates a slimmer,
sleeker style, but it can also lower the height
of some pillow-top and other high-profile mattresses. These beds provide stable
slats and other strong foundations to replace the box spring and provide years
of performance.
We recommend that platform beds be used without a box spring
to ensure proper headboard height.
All of our Ontario bed frames offer the Versatile
Bed System, which provides your choice of Mattress and Box Spring, Platform
Bed or the Futon Style Support
Kit.
Hollywood style beds use metal frames that connect to or are surrounded
by the bed frame. These beds must be used with a mattress and box spring. All
of the Hollywood style beds from TEMA Contemporary Furniture come with a metal
frame.
