Special Orders
Special Order Merchandise is merchandise ordered specifically for a customer and not part of TEMA's regular stocking program, including custom configurations, sizes, covers, finishes, and customer supplied materials orders (COM/COL).
Lead Times & Estimated Arrival Dates
Lead times and estimated arrival dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays beyond TEMA Furniture's control do not qualify an order for cancellation, refund, price reduction, or compensation.
Quotes
Quotations are valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise stated. Promotional pricing expires at the end of the applicable sale. Prices, freight costs, product availability, and manufacturer pricing are subject to change without notice.
Payment & Deposits
Credit card payments are processed through secure encrypted payment links. TEMA Furniture does not manually enter or store customer credit card information.
Financing promotions and approvals are subject to lender approval and program terms. Returned checks, declined payments, chargebacks, or payment disputes may result in collection activity, recovery of associated costs, and additional fees where permitted by law.
Special Orders require a 50% deposit. Customers financing through Synchrony are required to provide a 20% deposit at the time the order is placed. Deposits are non-refundable except as provided under the Cancellations, Returns & Refunds section of these policies. The remaining balance on all purchases must be paid in full prior to delivery or customer pickup.
Order Cancellations & Returns
Special Orders may be cancelled within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase. After forty-eight (48) hours, a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the purchase price may apply if the order cannot be cancelled with the manufacturer.
In-stock merchandise may be returned within ten (10) days of purchase for a refund of the merchandise, provided the merchandise remains in new, unused, and resalable condition.
Special Order merchandise may be returned within ten (10) days of delivery, subject to a 25% restocking fee and provided the merchandise remains in new, unused, and resalable condition.
Custom ordered area rugs, sleep pillows, mattress protectors, bedding, and customer supplied materials orders (COM/COL), are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Mattresses are non-returnable unless covered by a separately signed Comfort Guarantee agreement and all requirements of that program have been met.
Merchandise marked Clearance, Floor Sample, AS-IS, or ending in $0.77, $0.86, or $0.99 is sold AS-IS, carries no warranty, and is non-returnable and non-refundable.
Non-Refundable Fees
Delivery, shipping, assembly, installation, service, storage, and related labor charges are non-refundable once the service has been performed or attempted.
Delivery Service
TEMA deliveries are considered White Glove deliveries. See our website at temafurniture.com/pages/delivery for what to expect.
Customers are responsible for ensuring merchandise will fit through all access points and within the intended space. Access to the delivery area must be clear and safe. Children, pets, and other conditions that may interfere with the delivery process must be safely secured prior to the arrival of the delivery team.
Customers must notify TEMA in advance of any site conditions that may affect delivery. An adult age 18 or older must be present to accept delivery.
Any visible damage, shortages, or concerns must be noted at the time of delivery. Failure to report visible concerns at delivery may limit TEMA's ability to determine when and how damage occurred.
Customer Pickup
Customers who pick up merchandise assume responsibility for transportation, handling, assembly, and any damage occurring after pickup.
Customers must inspect merchandise prior to taking possession. Any visible damage, shortages, or concerns must be noted at the time of pickup. Failure to report visible concerns at pickup may limit TEMA's ability to determine when and how damage occurred.
Some merchandise requires assembly and/or preparation prior to pickup. Customers must provide advance notice to allow sufficient time for assembly and/or preparation. Same-day pickup cannot be guaranteed for merchandise requiring assembly and/or preparation.
Pickups are not available on Sunday.
Storage
After four (4) months of storage, TEMA may assess a storage fee equal to 2% of the merchandise value per month on furniture being held. Customers who are unable to take delivery within a reasonable time after notification of arrival should contact TEMA Furniture to make arrangements.
TEMA’surance

Product Warranty
Manufacturer warranties vary by product and vendor. Coverage, exclusions, limitations, and claim procedures are governed by the manufacturer's warranty. For complete warranty details, please refer to the manufacturer's warranty documentation. TEMA will provide the manufacturer’s warranty upon request when available.
